- 에어베어링 방식의 스핀들로서, 압축공기를 이용하여 회전축이 부상하는 방식의 베어링을 사용하고 있다. 압축공기에 의해 회전축이 부상하는 방식이기 때문에 초정밀, 초고속 가공이 가능하여 우수한 가공면을 얻을 수 있다. 주로 스마트폰과 관련된 강화유리, 메탈케이스, 버튼류 등의 부품 가공에 많이 쓰이며, 콘텍트렌즈 및 광학렌즈 가공용으로도 사용되고 있다.
