Product overview
All process manufacturers today face 'best fit' for process calibration requirements. To maintain product quality, reduce waste, improve efficiency, and comply with standard regulations, instruments that measure process variables such as temperature and pressure must be periodically calibrated. However, it is not easy to choose the right braces for your job, and it is difficult to find products with precision and a variety of features at the right cost. The 7526A, which is less expensive than high-end multi-product braces and offers more precise and diverse functions than handheld field braces, is the 'optimal' device that is valuable in terms of precision, various functions, and economy.
Intuitive User Interface
The user interface includes cursor controls and function keys · 10-key keypad to easily navigate intuitive menus, store and retrieve up to 9 set points for each input/output parameter, enter RTD or SPRT coefficients, and press the key to easily change the display unit. Equipped with two LCD displays, sourcing and measurement results can be checked simultaneously.
Improve efficiency with automation
Use the 7526A with MET/CAL® Plus calibration management software to increase efficiency and calibration throughput and to operate the ATE (Automatic Testing System). MET/CAL Plus is a powerful application for creating, editing, and testing calibration procedures and collecting and reporting results from various devices. These include MET/CAL® software, an industry-leading automated calibration software, and MET/TEAM™ Express, a dedicated system for managing test and measurement assets. Alternatively, you can choose the standard version of MET/TEAM™ for full-function enterprise calibration asset management, including optional modules for on-site calibration, commerce management, and customer web portals. The 7526A standard computer interface includes RS-232 and GPIB (IEEE-488). A USB-to-serial adapter cable is also included by default in the calibrator.
Be careful not to forget the sensor
Calibrating the electronics part of the temperature transmitter is only part of the entire calibration. The temperature sensor itself corresponding to the RTD or thermocouple must also be calibrated. Temperature sensors cause more than 75% of output errors in the temperature transmitter, which can be a problem if the sensor is ignored. You can calibrate the temperature sensor individually or use a dry-block calibrator such as the Fluke Calibration 914X Series Field Metrology Well to calibrate the sensor and transmitter into one system. Field Metrology Well is specially designed for process calibration, optimized for fast temperature measurements and mobility, stability and accuracy. When the 7526A and 914X dry-block calibrators are combined, they are fully capable of calibrating any temperature transmitter.
Pressure sourcing and measuring
The P5500 series comparison test pump and the 7526A and Fluke 700 series pressure modules can be used together to generate or control the test pressure. The unique test port configuration allows easy connectivity of various connection sizes and types, including NPT and BSP · metric thread, without the need for tools. The P5510 includes a built-in hand pump that can produce vacuum or static pressure up to 300 psi (2 MPa). P5513 allows precise control of pneumatic pressure up to 3000 psi (20 MPa). An external pressure supply is required. The P5514 enables the generation of hydraulic pressure up to 10000 psi (70 MPa). The P5515 includes a built-in priming pump and a screw pump that can generate pressures up to 20000 psi (140 MPa). Both P5514 and P5515 can use oil or water. There is a special version available for ethylene propylene seals for more reactive fluids.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>
