UHF PD Detector is a portable online partial discharge (PD) substation surveying system designed for fast and non-invasive investigations in medium and high pressure (HV) substations. Component failures in these substations are likely to cause injuries, damage, and unplanned outages, which can result in significant disruption and cost. Therefore, the evaluation of predictive status with UHF PD Detector is essential to identify defects occurring in electrical equipment so that they can be resolved before errors occur.The UHF PD Detector must be part of the toolkit for all maintenance and service teams. Due to the high measurement bandwidth, the UHF method provides accurate local online PD measurements for HV components such as cable termination, surge lightning arresters, voltage transformers, and insulators.The instrument's dual measurement channel allows you to compare two phases or two types of UHF sensors, making the UHF PD Detector a more versatile instrument.
