Introduced Chroma Programmable AC Power Source Model 61700 series provides high-quality 5-wire, 3-phase AC power. Unlike conventional three-phase AC power sources, it includes a low power rating model at a very low cost. Users can program voltage and frequency and measure the critical characteristics of the output on LCD displays. It provides an optimal solution to simulate all kinds of input conditions of UUTs to be utilized in R&D and QA. It is also suitable for commercial applications from laboratory testing to mass production. The 61700 supplies an output voltage of 0 to 300 VAC and can be set individually for each phase. You can also set the phase angle from 0° to 360°. The features of these 61700 series allow us to simulate three-phase power imbalances. Its output frequencies range from 15 Hz to 1200 Hz, making it suitable for aeronautical electronics and marine fields. AC DC mode extends the output function to simulate abnormal conditions when the power line contains DC offsets. The 61700 series uses state-of-the-art PWM technology, which can output very stable ACs with less than 0.3% distortion. Power factor calibration circuitry allows the 61700 series to yield higher efficiency and deliver more output power. The 61700 series uses advanced DSP technology to accurately and quickly measure RMS voltage, RMS current, actual power, power factor and current wave height. The 61700 series offers a variety of options to output transient voltages, including LIST, PULSE, STEP, and INTERHARMONICS modes. Users can easily program variational waveforms for resistance testing. The 61700 series can also be controlled by soft panels with powerful features and user-friendly environments via GPIB or RS-232 interfaces. The soft panel also includes a waveform editor that allows you to edit up to 40th harmonic components. In this way, the 61700 series helps users output distorted waveforms as desired. The 61700 series provides high quality and reliability for demanding engineering tests and production lines with self-diagnosis routines and protection from overpower, overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating and fans.
